It’s been a ball

Six months ago my exhibition Skeleton opened at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. These are the opening scenes.

Much of the work is moving to a new exhibition in Bristol together with some of my prints. See the end of this blog for details.

It’s been a great 6 months and I’m very pleased that the museum had the faith in me to stage such an exhibition. I’ve had lots of very positive comments about it. Dismantling will be a sad moment but it’s time to move on. Thanks to everyone who has made a visit and said nice things. Special thanks to my daughter Lisa who was my official photographer and so doesn’t appear in any of the photographs!

The new exhibition will contain some of the Skeleton stuff alongside the mezzotint prints I made during my degree course. It will be held at Hamilton House, 80 Stokes Croft, Bristol BS1 3QU from 4 – 17 May 2017. See you all there?
