Just reflecting on the nature of making unusual objects like sculptures. I’m struggling today.
I’ve invested a lot of time in the current sculpture – about 3 weeks so far – but I cant be sure even now that it will work out and be worthy. of display. I’ve just been struggling with gluing inaccessible parts together only to find yesterdays gluing is coming apart and looks awful. I would not have known this construction technique would be so difficult if I had not tried it. No one has written a manual about and I doubt t even on utube. So I guess it is a learning experience – but one that I don’t have time for right now. The ups and downs of inventing things!
Still the cake that I made worked out well!!
