Finally started cutting into a very old piece of teak to make Sculpture 3.

This is a small part of a keel of a traditional yacht that i have written about in a previous blog. It is resting on another part of the huge keel that it was once bolted to. You have to picture the boat upside down.

The bolt holes are visible as well as an old keel bolt on the right sticking out from the deadwood. Im hoping to make a timelapse video of the complete carving process. Here is just the short beginning clip. Click on facebook 2. Think I’ll need my chainsaw next week!
